Remy's Kitchen and Wine Bar is the Downtown Clayton branch of Tim Mallett's group of restaurants and is targetted the business crowd. Chef Lisa Slay creates harmonious dishes with her selections. Small plates range from mixed greens and a caesar salad to stuffed grape leaves and grilled shrimp. Large plates are usually hot dishes designed to be the entrée. They have plenty of wines available by the glass. The wine lists give plenty of information about the wines.

Café Campagnard serves country French cuisine in a casual, comfortable, yet elegant atmosphere. It is a neighborhood bistro, which attempts to serve delicious hearty food and wine at reasonable prices. The location in far West County is the diners' advantage. The appetizers have a good selection of items ranging from escargot to a salmon sampler. The entrées include lamb, beef, chicken, fish and of course, bouillabaisse.
